About the Author: Teresa Nuckols

Ever since she can remember, Teresa has known a loving Christian home atmosphere. Along with her 5 brothers and sisters, Teresa was homeschooled - graduating in 2001. Since then, Teresa has taught art and preschool classes at homeschool co-ops with her dad, John Nuckols (www.ecreationscience.com); has participated in some mission trips to Mexico and Poland; and attended a two year Bible School. Teresa enjoyed working as a recreation leader at a nursing home, where she was able to use her musical talents to minister the the residents there. Teresa plays fiddle and hammered dulcimer in her family's gospel bluegrass band, Nuckols Regiment (www.nuckolsregiment.com).

Over the course of two years, Teresa wrote much of the text for Consider the Lilies: A Girl's Quiet Time with the Father. With her mom, Rosemary, drawing the illustrations; her brother, Dan, designing the book cover, www.highlandsgraphics.com. Teresa was able to print her first book last spring. The Lord has opened up some special opportunities for Teresa to share her book with others.
